Kriti garments are sold under the brand name Kriti Kala. The collections combine the traditional textiles of India with modern designs to create clothes that are comfortable, ethnic and affordable. We support not only the women artisans directly working in tailoring and embroidery units, but also the rural artisans who are involved in maintaining the craft traditions of India. We especially focus on the traditional fabrics of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana - kalamkari fabric from Machalipatnam - made using block printing with vegetable dyes, ikat fabric from Pochampally area - with the intricate tie and dye of yarns before weaving fabric on hand operated looms, and Mangalagiri cotton - unique double shaded cottons that typically have different shades on the warp and the weft.
Our products are sold through our shop, through instagram and through exhibitions.
We are open to wholesale our products to boutiques and stores across the country.
